Greetings to all!!
Finally, summer arrived! Triple digit weather, lots of sunshine, warm evenings! It doesn't get much better! The pool has been the place to be and has been getting a lot of use.
Cool Desert Nights was another huge success, and if you are an old car enthusiast, you should put this event on your calendar for next June. Hogs and Dogs was a lot of fun with over 4000 motorcycles gathered in one park in West Richland. Cynthia rode her scooter to the gathering, and no one "kicked sand in her face"!
The weekends have been busy with baseball tournaments and families looking to get away from home for a few days. In July we will see more baseball tournaments, Fourth of July weekend, and one of the Tri-City favorites: boat race weekend. If you have a chance to watch the boat races, it is a fun-filled time with lots of hydro-plane action at Columbia Park.
If you are planning to come to the Tri-Cities to work, check out our extended stay rates. We offer union discounts on the extended stay sites. We are the closest RV park to the Hanford Area, and our amenities beat all the others.
If you are coming to the Tri-Cities for a vacation or a weekend of fun in the sun, you should check out some of the wineries in the area. We're not far behind Napa Valley for good local wines. The activities calendar is loaded with lots of breakfasts and potlucks for the month. We have so many good cooks in the resort, and there is always plenty of food. So, if you haven't had time to fix a dish or dessert, be sure to come anyway...there is always enough for seconds and sometimes thirds!!! No one leaves hungry!!!
When you arrive at Horn Rapids RV Resort, you will be greeted by a friendly and helpful staff. At check-in, you will meet Gerri, Bill, Cindy, Don, Katy or Leo. You will find Bob and Rachel throughout the resort maintaining the facilities. Cindy will be found planning and executing the activities, with help from Linda. We are all here to make your stay at the resort a fun and memorable time. We look forward to your visit!
